commercial photographer specializing in beverages and agave-based spirits like mezcal and tequila. I help my clients to obtain high-quality images to enhance their brand positioning and increase sales

Hola, I’m Shava Cueva!

I'm a photographer, author, traveler, plant-lover, and husband born and raised in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

I specialize in art direction and commercial photography for food, agave spirits drinks and products. My photographic style is colorful, clean, and minimal, focusing on light and symmetry; however, it's ever-evolving along with me.

While photography is my primary service, I also offer holistic campaigns from art direction to set design. I create unique concepts based on strategic research and experimentation, referencing colors, shapes, lighting, and other elements related to each project. I love returning to basics and using my hands to cut and paint wood and cardboard or collect and assemble natural materials such as bark and plants.

With over ten years of experience working with agencies and direct clients, I pride myself on being professional, punctual, and reliable every time. With me, what you see is what you get. When I promise something, you can rest assured that I will deliver on that promise.

I know what it means to have a personal brand and the dedication it takes to make it grow and flourish. Having single- handedly grown my own audience to over 130K followers across Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok for Bebidas de Oaxaca, I understand what kind of content resonates with audiences to keep them engaged and maintains growth.

Your brand deserves to stand out, and I know that with unique content, consistency and a little bit of love, I can help you grow your social media too. If you're ready to take the plunge with me, visit my contact page.

I love working with clients who prioritize the planet and inspire people with their products and services.

I don't care about titles. However, if anyone wants to know, I studied Communication at the University of Baja California (UABC) and have a master's degree in photographic design from the Universidad Iberoamericana.
